Yalda Night at Treehouse NDSM A Night of Light, Poetry & Community

Join us for a beautiful celebration of Shab-e Yalda (the Persian Winter Solstice) at the creative home of Treehouse NDSM. Yalda is the longest night of the year, a 3,000-year-old tradition where people gather to welcome the return of light, share stories, eat pomegranates, read poetry, and stay awake together until the darkness begins to fade.

This event is for anyone who loves culture, poetry, music, or simply warm community vibes. You don’t need to know anything about Yalda — just come with curiosity and an open heart. Optional: wear something red to honor the night’s tradition. ❤️

💛 A Small Note About last minute tickets

Because of the high demand on the last-minute tickets and our small organizing team, we may not be able to guarantee a full snack box for every guest. That said, please know this comes from a place of love; your enthusiasm and last-minute joining honestly means a lot to us, and we’d rather welcome everyone than turn anyone away. There will still be some shared snacks, wine that can be purchased through the bar and plenty of warmth, poetry, and good energy to go around. Thank you for your understanding, your flexibility, and for being part of this night with us. ❤️

FYI: Earlier on the same day (12:00–18:00), Treehouse NDSM is hosting an X-mas Art Market in the building. It’s not part of our Yalda event, but if you arrive early and want to explore, you’re welcome to check it out!
